Yes sir, it stays on my to-do list about every year. I had too many other distractions last year and missed going to dinner with the group and going for a run (away from the track) if y'all did such a thing that Saturday evening.
Fun stuff for sure. We had a great turnout too, but hope we can top it this year!

Looking like some nice hardware may be on display with this group so far! Stng.., it looks to me like you'll be ready! But even having an in-progress car there would be good for those to look at who are waiting to take the plunge!
You guys will love The Mitty - there's so much to see and take in.

After weeks of fabrication and getting all the details the way that I wanted them, I finally finished my vortech SC install on my SBF monster.....
I'll be bringing it to the Mitty.....
I look forward to meeting you all and checking out all the cool cars.....

Tell you want I'll bring a tow strap and roll with you if you are unsure of it still. Not that it would be terribly useful since it's much more likely I'd need the tow!
I just posted 4/20 to 4/26 off work but given what my commission statement has looked like the last 6 months I'll probably be in full drummer mode by then saying hey can I crash on your couch to everyone I see!

Well Jim, I have to say that I really value your opinion, but if you think brakes are optional then apparently my judgement is a bit misplaced.....And if you pick Marion as a stopping point again this year, theres a spare bedroom for you to use here for sure.

Jim.., your Christmas was FULL of surprises from what it sounds like! Congratulations to you and your growing family. Hopefully, you can still sneak in a car-guy weekend in April - maybe in the northern part of Georgia... Just sayin'...

LOL well it could be congratulations if I wasn't footing the bill! The guy is a decent sort but has never seen anything close to a successful biblical marriage modeled (other than mine from a distance) and is a quite short on life skills. We've talked a few times over the years they have dated and he doesn't understand even the most basic concepts of his role as a husband or oneness in a relationship.
So this next 6 months is going to be all about coming along side him and building him up to be successful in his new life. If he was a car guy it would be easy I would just bring him along but he would rather have a root canal than go to a V8 Miata gathering. So I'm headed into his world to connect and find those teachable moments but if it's at all possible I would love to come to Atlanta again!

LOL I already offered them 5 grand to elope and if they would have taken it would not be selling a lens and pondering this trip so hard!
I couple of guys I sim race with from Dallas and points south are going to make the trip. I did the same write up there I did here and they thought it looked great. So I suppose we better start a real thread with info, who's going and contact Keith to see if FM will roll out the carpet again.
