1990 Miata MX-5 (73k miles!!!)
This car would be a great swap candidate or just a great car to drive. I've decided to go in a different direction and am going to get a DD that I'm not tempted to modify as I already have one huge project underway (True Street race car).
The car currently has 73,000 miles on it. That is not a typo and they are original miles. This car is absolutely immaculate, inside and out, top to bottom. The interior looks as if it just rolled off of the assembly line. The paint is above factory levels of acceptance. The car was repainted about four years ago, not for repair purposes, but more of preventative maintenance. It was painted here: http://www.interproauto.com/index.html. The paint has to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. It looks as if it were six feet deep.
The car has zero rust and is mechanically perfect. It knocks down about 24 mpg city and 30ish on the highway. It never hurts my feelings being able to fill up for $30 or less.
-Momo Mod 07 deep dish steering wheel
-Daikei plug and play steering wheel hub
Performance:
-Custom catback exhaust
Suspension/Chassis:
-Ground Control fully adjustable coilovers with KYB AGX 8-way adjustable shocks
-Powerflex shock boots with Powerflex bump stops
-Hard Dog Double Diagnol Roll Bar (SCCA approved)
Wheels:
-XXR 513 0 offset 15''x8'' (Kumhos has 4k miles on them)
Audio:
-Alpine Head Unit
-Rockford Fosgate speakers
Feel free to text/call at (270)320-4122, my name is Alex.

Ignore post #2 folks. It's got that "bot" smell to it.
For the first poster: it may be helpful if you post your location and how much your hoping to get for the car. It looks nice, but the value of a 20+ year old car is very dependant on how many winters it has weathered.

Not a bad price considering you'd be ahead with the roll bar and wheels already. The tires would work for a while on a V8 as well. All told you'd be about $1200 ahead (roll bar-$500, wheels/tires-$700). The suspention upgrades are sort of moot as you'd have to do something better than AGX's (a V8 will blow them out in 6 months) and the ground control sleeves may or may not fit a better shock. The spring rates may have to go up as well.
The paint is a bonus as most 1990's are looking a little rough. If you were planning on painting your donor anyhow this could be a good buy, expecially if he's willing to go down a little.

Great car! If it was still available next week, I'd be interested. Experts helped me when I went to Kennedy Mazda to get a new automobile. I was able to pick out the Mazda that I was trying to find. I decided that I needed a Mazda because the automobiles are a bit sportier and not too expensive. Valparaiso is a large place, but I was able to get precisely what I wanted in a vehicle. At Kennedy Mazda, every person walks away happy. It's the satisfaction to buy cars.
