Im not insterested in any trades, and I have spent over $25,000 building this car, I am not desperate to sell it, and I am not giving it away. Serious buyers, feel free to email me. Questions about the reserve will not be answered. Offers will be considered.
Time to sell my toy. I've built several cars, and this one has been by far the funnest. It's a 99 Miata with a 2002 LS1 V8 from a Camaro, along with a T-56 6 speed. I installed a mild cam, Headers, One of a kind Full mandrel bent 2.5" Exhaust Cut through the body (Sidepipes), Z06 Clutch, AccuSump accumulator, Z06 valley cover, Ford 42lb injectors, Larger MAFS, Tein Flex Coilovers, Aluminum Race Seat, Hard Dog Roll Bar, Willwood Big Brake Kit, 6UL Wheels, 15x8 and 15x9, Garage Vary Front Lip. I had the tranny rebuilt, and upgraded with better synchro's etc. The rear end is a Ford 8.8 with 3:55 gears and POSI, I just had the rear end rebuilt as well, new clutchpacks etc. It uses a Racing Concepts Kit, that has been slightly modified to move the rear end higher in the car. The car is extremely fast, and fun to drive. I have done several Track days in the car, and its an absolute beast. It weighs 2550lbs and has %51.5 %48.5 weight distribution, its very neutral, it doesnt understeer, just point it and shoot. I took it to the drag strip once after it was tuned, I was on old used 225 drag radials, on 6" Wide rims, and cut a 1.7 60' and went 11.6 @ 120mph. It made 378rwhp, and 372tq, I have the dyno sheet. The car is very driveable, and hooks up way better than you would think, you can roll on hard in 1st, and it wont blow the tires off, it hooks and pulls like a freight train. The drivetrain had 57,000 miles when it was installed, and should have less than 3000 on the swap (odo doesnt work).
Condition: The car could use a paintjob, there are a few panels that the clearcoat has faded (both fenders, trunk) And there are scratches in most area's. There is no body damage, I had all door dings proffesionally removed, Tires are %40 Front, and %80 Rear, Interior is clean, except for a small tear in the passenger seat bottom. The tan soft top was in excellent condition, until I put a 1" cut in it Doh! Could probably be patched, havent tried. The only guage that doesnt work, is the speedo and ODO, I have a Dakota Digital box, but it hasnt been installed. Factory Temp, Oil Pressure, and Tach all work properly. All fluids are fully synthetic, and there are no leaks, no smoke, no funny noises. I have vented the hood, and installed a naca duct, helps with under hood temps. There is NO AC, but it could be added. I have the GM compressor, and factory Miata Condenser. I have the factory leather drivers seat which will be included.
I have a few video's of the car on my YouTube page. The video's of me racing the Ferrari F430 are from when my car only made 314 at the wheels, so it's quite a bit faster now. www.YouTube.com/PSI240SX
