These are just a couple shots. Car comes with a CD of the build and I can answer any questions you have about it. Owner put only 400+/- miles on since I delivered it in May.
At one point I thought he had blow it up but there was a miscommunication, he was talking about his other car.

Sorry guys, long day and tough conversation with the owner... car is in North Canton , Ohio and his price is $17,500
When I built the car it received the entire Boss Frog catalog except for the harness bar. There is even the BF subwoofer and amp in the trunk The interior is clean and the canvas top looks great on it. The LS-1 runs fantastic and has a lot of pull from 2500rpm to the redline of 6200RPM. The GPS speedometer says that 0-60 is 4.80 seconds ad 280.3 feet, 1/4 Mile is 13.4@109 but get this... the throttle stop under the gas pedal was never adjusted so the TB is not opening fully, she mas more in her!
I used the car for the Fireball Run and then drove her another 4000 miles without an issue. The new owner put about 400 miles on it and then had to park her. I would say that puts her at about 7000 trouble free miles.
The front suspension consists of Tokico Illumina shocks with Mazdaspeed springs. It has the Racing Beat hollow front sway bar and sway reinforcement mounts. The rear has Monroe Sens-o-track shocks with 3/4" aluminum lower mounts, M-speed springs and FM top hats. The rear sway was removed per Sheik at FCM. As a whole the car handles very well and rides like a Cadillac.
With the stock fans mounted to a Griffin custom 3 1/2" tick rad the car never over heated. I had to move the rad 3" forward and down 1 1/2" to fit but I did reinforce the top of the rad support with 2x2 angle iron.
This car is a blast to drive but never a chore. The PS system is a mix of custom mounts that place the Mazda pump at the oil pan seam, then Miata hoses to the rack. The rack lines are braided.
To be honest, I never wanted to sell the car but I couldn't afford it and the Exocet. If I can hit the lotto this week I will have both in a heartbeat.
Feel free to PM me with questions and for pictures. I am only in this to help the owner, I have nothing to gain here.

To anyone interested, $17,500 is better than you will find for a well built LS swapped Miata. There is the added benefit of having the original owner/builder to communicate with as you learn the car.

This car was listed on craigslist last October for 15K. I e-mailed the seller multiple times. Getting info about the car was difficult to say the least. He said he was working a lot and had no time. When he finally agreed to show the car, it was at a bar in N. Canton if I remember correctly, but he wouldn't set a time. I googled the address at the time. He wouldn't give me a phone number and never called me. His reason was he "didn't have a smart phone". I found that gem in the old e-mails in my Miata file. My PM to Meiernutz as requested didn't produce a phone number or address either. Wonder if I'll hear from the seller this time around. It's supposed to hit 40 tomorrow after a stretch of nippy weather and then return to the deep freeze with more snow predicted per Scott at Fox8 this morning. Interesting approach to selling a car!

Lets get some facts straight... First I don't live in Ohio, I am in Connecticut. There fore I would NEVER agree to meet you in a bar in N. Canton. In fact, with ANY of the 15 Miatas I have bought and sold in the last 9 years I have NEVER met anyone in a commuter lot/bar/or off site location. I am not a dealer but I have fixed and sold cars in order to fund the build on Nadine and now my Exocet. That is no secret. I have openly admitted it many times. I also have sold every one of them from my home. I have NOTHING to hide.
Second, the car WAS listed on eBay last year. When Dan contacted me the starting bid was $15G but we made an agreement outside of that and the car was sold. If folks remember I had the car listed here as well. Many folks contacted me about the car and I was made some offers. Dan was one of the few that recognized the car for what it was. His Grandfather and I had met in Independence, Ohio as part of the Fireball Run. That was the reason I felt he would be a great fit for the car.
Third, you contacted me yesterday and PM'd me a number to pass along. I did. The only reason I am involved in this sale at ALL is to answer questions about the construction of the car itself. I HAVE NO PERSONAL GAIN OR LOSS IN THE SALE OF THIS CAR! I am not taking a commission, I am not handling cash, I do not have possession of the car/keys/ Ohio title.
I am truly upset that you would accuse me of any type of underhanded wrongdoing or attempting to cash in on the feeling of other's in order to sell a car. What you have now accused me of is despicable and to do it on a public forum is just plain low.
Why am I involved at all? I got a call from Dan asking if I would like to buy the car back. I told him I was not in the financial position to do that but that I would put out some feelers. He did the right thing by giving me first right of refusal, I thought I was doing right by him to offer to field questions so that interested parties could get first hand answers. Does that make me a bad guy?
By the way here is a cut and paste of the PM's between John and I yesterday:
"Tell Dan I'm interested, but I am not making an offer until I get to see the car. He can contact me when he is able to show it. You told me about the car when you had it for sale but wouldn't show it so I felt like I was wasting my time.

John,
Mine is 203-232-8298, give me a call after 7pm EST and I will fill you in on the whole car. If you want to make an offer I will give you Dan's number. He is not feeling well and also I can answer any questions about the build ect and you are getting it first hand. Once it comes to money I will gladly step out, that part is none of my business.
Chris "

I will gladly vouch for this end user, he has always been a tell it like it is type of guy, just like myself.

PS: For the record, and full disclosure, I was one of the people to make him a lower priced offer, which he graciously declined when he was the seller
PSS: The seller in Ohio was a scammer, the car was only for sale in CT at the time it was listed by the OP here and on Ebay.

Thank you for the kind words Bill. I don't know if there was some miscommunication here now or in the past but I did not like my name thrown in the mud.
I had quite a few people ask if they could come see the car when it was for sale by me. I was happy to do so, at my home. Once I began talking to Dan and he put the deposit on the car, all attempts to sell her stopped. I then stored the car in my heated garage all winter rather than risk damage during transport. Dan took delivery in May. I don't know who John spoke to in Ohio last September but it was not me and Dan was too excited to be buying the car to attempt any funny business.....Lets see this end right here right now....
Mods, please lock or remove this thread. I don't wish to bring unnecessary drama to a forum that has been thankfully free of it for the most part.

second that - seems to be an unnecessary and unsubstantiated sidebar not relevant to the thread and not really in the spirit of this type of forum

I didn't accuse you of anything. I stated facts. I don't use E-bay and never mentioned it. In fact, I'm probably the least connected person you know. I was interested in the car when it appeared on Craigslist in October and I still am. Whoever posted that ad responded multiple times by e-mail as I asked repeatedly for info on the car and I decided I wanted to inspect the car. The ad offered very little info. In the end he wouldn't arrange to show the car. I haven't heard from him since I contacted you as you asked in the PM's you have posted. I don't understand your reaction. What is your objection to the truth. I value it highly. Would you like to read the e-mail correspondence from the October 2014 craigslist ad? The snow should be melting here today so I can get my Miata out of the driveway. It doesn't do well with snow on the ground. Should I expect to hear from Dan so I can come see the car? N. Canton is a bit of a hike and it would be nice to plan ahead. You posted this to attract interested buyers that can afford to purchase the car, didn't you.

The perfect example, our house was for sale last spring, the same time we had it listed in the MLS, it showed up as a rental on several such sites, at half the price it would have been if it was legit. Two people knocked on our door asking to see it, wanted to know when we were moving out, and did not want to hear that we were the owners and the house was not for rent at any price. One of those two even sent a deposit to the scam artist who was "traveling" to seal the deal........
So instead of getting pissed at the legit seller or his friend who is assisting him, be thankful you were not one of the truly stupid people to send a deposit to hold the car. Or, you can continue to make an *** out of yourself as you have done with all three of your posts on this forum, and the seller will not contact you just out of principal.........
And yes, I apologize for my last two sentences, but you get my drift.

I'm thinking the ad you originally responded to last year in Ohio was a scam. They stole the information and pictures from the original CT ad, and started one of their own. Strung you along hoping you would be stupid enough to send a deposit, that is how those scams work. You pushing to see the car, and the lack of a further response is pretty much the MO of a scam artist. It's a matter of averages, all it takes is one or two out of the several hundred who read the scam ad to send a depsoit for it to work. And all it cost the scammer is the time it took to open a fake email account and dead drop cell phone, then copy and paste any number of ads and post them all over the country.

yea I can vouch. This guy has helped me with issues and was insanely nice to even a stranger ( me ).
$17k is a HELL OF A DEAL! You couldn't even come close to building this car for that unless you got a-lot of FREE STUFF.

The car has fantastic heat but the A/C was deleted.
Feel free to Pm me for details. If you give me an email I will send you a write up on the car and can forward pictures. The car is in Ohio with it's current owner. I am here to do nothing but forward information.
