Default 302 inline filler neck

Does anyone know where I can purchase the filler neck that has the 90 degree outlet?

I currently have the inline filler across the top return hose over the top of the alternator but th cap ends up being too high. I'm looking for the filler neck that is verticle out of the thermostat housing with the 90 degree outlet.

Thanks,
Erik

Since that's what Martin includes in his Monster Miata kit I'd bet that he could get you one. At one point he was including the type you have but has since switched back. The 90 degree is much easier to "burp".

If you can't get one from him try Jegs and Summit. If you can't get one there look into where ever the factory five guys get thier stuff. I've seen the type you currently have for sale from those source so they may have the other type as well.

Good luck,

I have been using one like you have without any issues.

I had one of those inline ones on my first build. I liked that it looked somewhat "cleaner" that the 90 degree. I had it positioned behind the alternator which may be where your issue is coming from.

The 90 degree ones are only a bit easier to use in that the cap is positioned maybe an inch, if that, higher than the other kind.

I'll see if I can run it behind the alternator. I think the 90 degree inline is a custom item and would need to find a radiator shop to fab one up.

Thanks,
