Default A/C condensor & dryer mounting info

I see a lot of people making brackets to mount the condenser and also relocating the dryer to the Rh side just aft of the radiator. Were is everyone getting that information to do that? The Cardomain site for build #3 by Jason M. seems to be referenced, some, but I can't get any info out of it. It was recently reformatted? Does anyone have a link to information on re-configuring the A/C lines and dryer ect? Thanks

Hey MiataDoug welcome to the forum! It's really helpful if you update your signature to show what your car is so we always know in posts. Notice Tbones and mine. Edit your signature here (click)

There is a couple of great shots of how Jason did it here. https://www.v8miata.net/ford-v8-miat...-162/#post1183

There are a few others around but basically they just copied Jasons design.

Cardomain forcefully reconfigured all the member's sites to look more like blogs which did not translate well for those who had actually took the time to lay out a decent website. When I get the chance I'm hoping to put all the pictures up on my own site. The build thread here is pretty good though.

The actual mounting of the dryer is not shown. What I did was saw off the "flap" part of the mounting flange and then use the two little loops that resulted to zip tie it to the longer of the two bumper supports on the passenger side. To route the lines to that point you need to swap the bottle and the small diameter line that ran just after it so that it can carry the coolant around the back of the radiator/condenser.

Hope that helps,
-Jason

Thanks all, but I still don't get it.

Any body have any pictures? I understand in general terms the concept about swapping the bottle and the line. But what is the routing path to get the line from the new bottle location up to the top condenser fitting? Along the side of the radiator?

This is how mine turned out. The line comes down from the condenser and then goes between the radiator and the side support. It gets real close to the sway bar support.
