questions to help finish my build
Finally got time to install tranny. Pounded the crap out of the firewall and realized my engine was a bit crooked. loosened the engine mount bolts and a few more blows from the BFH and I got it in. After hours of work and trying to get the tranny crossbrace to fit, I realized I was missing a part from the kit. I believe it is referred to as the tranny mount. It connects the tranny to the metal crossbrace. What it is made of and what are the dimensions?
It is the v shapes wedge between the tranny and crossbrace in this picture:
Second, all the holes in the bellhousing spacer lined up, but after all the mounting I realized the starter holes did not line up. Do I have the wrong metal spacer?
Thank you

The transmission mount is a combination of metal and rubber. It looks to be a factory style mount like this
Assuming that's a ford t5, the mount you will likely need is
1979-98 Mustang Transmission Mount- Reproduction at LRS - Free Shipping!
But you should wait till someone else chimes in as all my research has been on LS swaps so I could be wrong on the application for the transmission mount.

A standard Mustang mount is too tall IIRC. I'm sure if you contact Martin he'll get it out to you.
While you're working on that part of the build you may want to add a reonforcement bolt to the crossmember. I added one to mone and the drive line slop almost completely disapeared. After you get it lined up drill a whole through it and the floor on the passenger side. Stick a substanial bolt through it with some large washers.
good luck,

Have you got a picture of this addition?

I don't want to steal the OP's thread so I put the pics up in my build thread here:
