Supercharged 331 SBF
I had always had plans to one day add a supercharger to my car but an awesome Craigslist find move it to the top of the list. I found a Kenne Bell 1.5 for the 5.0 on Craigslist and was able to talk the guy down to a really good price. I also added a FM Big Fuel pump rated at 300lph and did a cold air intake. The hood was modified to clearance the blower and is awaiting paint.
I am scheduled to tune on Wednesday and would like to see 390 HP's so wish me luck. Here are some pics.

You we right.
Back form the Dyno and this thing is one step closer to being road ready. They tries to email me the files but didn't go through and their printer was down. Am going to stop by tomorrow and see if I can grab the files to post up. Here are the numbers, peak HP was 351 and 400 ft-lbs off 5 lbs of boost. The SC has an 8 psi pulley on it but the elevation here in Denver causes it to drop. The numbers are a little deceiving because in the middle of the power band I picked up 75 ponies and 95 ft-lbs over my previous tunes. It is almost to much torque but pulls like a freight train ( I said almost to much). The car is definitely going to be a hand full but just need some seat time to dial it in. Here is a video off my phone .

Go 5.0. Easier build, more bang for your buck, better sound, more support, more tried and true...Just my humble opinion.
To be fair, I also am pretty wrapped up in the Ford end of this whole thing, my opinion may be a little slanted..

I know what you mean. I have been more of a ford guy as well (had a 66 mustang when I was a kid). Still, you have to give credit to the LS series engines. They just make power plain and simple. So what would you say is easier about the build vs the LS? Engine location? Parts availability? Price?
