Default Updates at McCully Racing Motors

It's been a while but with the school year ending I was able to focus a little attention on the MRM website. Additions include:

-Added a blog

-Changed some pricing around (drive shafts mostly-supplier raised the price on me)

-Added the ability to use an SN95 Mustang harness as a donor-actually comes in cheaper than using a Fox body harness

-Added official pricing for the bored and sleeved 2.0 Miata bottom ends we've been working on for the turbo folks-I'll probably throw this up over at Miata Turbo

-Hinted that I'm going to start working on making some interior dress-up stuff, mostly retro gauge pod inserts like the very expensive ones from Japan. I may also start making up some retro hazard light switches but need to work on making mine original enough that its not a copy of the one RevLimiter just put out.

Enjoyed the blog and interesting write-up on the cooling issue and probable solution. Just love your Laguna Blue roadster - so nice!

Thanks, it's actually just starting to make me completely happy. Getting the kinks worked out of the tune for the MS2 has mad the car what I always hoped it could be on the street. We'll see how it does on the track in a few weeks.

On your blog...those wheels...the 949? very nice...I wanted to do my interior in blue, and while I like the red strips on those wheels, I was thinking of a ford blue on the black wheels and then doing my interior in ford blue accents...My junker has been sitting in the garage serving me nicely during it's bi monthly beating...I'm thinking I pay it a little respect with a few upgrades...Can you get me a set of those wheels in blue?

I can't get you a set, I sort of made them that way myself. It would be a lot easier to do what you propose with modern 949racing 6ul's since they actually come in black. Mine were gen one wheels and had to be painted.

Once you get yourself a set of new 6ul's in black just pick up a roll of blue pinstripe at Autozone and go to town. I didn't use any type of guide or anything just the pinstripe and a table. I would not try it on the car.
