After being without my V8 Miata for 12 years I found it again!
12 to 15 years ago I was a regular on a V8 Miata sight, not sure if this is it or not. At any rate, I had the first and only Performance Car Craft Scorpion Miata that was built in 1991-1992. I sold it in 2001 and lost track of it until a month ago. I found it on Craigslist a few states away and it is back in my driveway. I totally rebuilt most of the drive train in 2000 after an unfortunate event. That story will need to be another post. The car had 55,000 or so miles on it when I sold it and it now has 61,860 on it now. It has had three owners since it left my drive way in 2001 and my note book was still I the trunk. Some of the documentation is missing, but one of the magazines it was advertised in back in 1992 was still with the car.
Looking forward to catching back up with the car and the forum!

Now that's some good news! Please post up more on the car - I've been around these since they were introduced in summer of 89, but have never heard of that conversion. I'm very interested to learn more. Thanks for joining up with us!

Wow now that is a great story! Gee I wonder if I could find my 65 Mustang fast back again... Welcome to the forum and please post us up some photos and detail on the car. I'd love to hear more about it and the build!

Probably the single most unique difference in this kit was it was built before Big brakes where available for Miata's, so the builder installed Spindles, Rotors, Calipers and the Rear Sub frame out of a 1990 RX7 Turbo.
