Default Excited and New Monster Owner

Hey everyone. I have been following this forum for a while and always been pretty excited about the Miata engine swap. I am the former owner of an 04 MX-5 MazdaSpeed and did a lot of mods to it but was unable to get the numbers past 196 HP and 204 ft.lbs.

That was not bad and it was a lot of fun, but I needed more. I went from there to an SLK 55 AMG and had a lot more fun; however I was paying crazy payments. I mean CraZy!!! I knew the Monster was going to be the perfect solution.

I just purchased Rookie's Monster and am really excited. I am not real mechanical and was hoping for a well-built machine that I can refresh with cosmetic work to make my own. And thank you Rookie for doing all of the hard work for me, I will take really good care of your Monster. I have a lot of ideas and will start my own build thread ASAP.

So thanks for all the information I have gained lurking the last year or so, and I look forward to being more involved in the forum.

John

Ha! Outstanding! Looks like a good build and I look forward to seeing what you do to it. You're going to have a blast with it!
