Default Mx5 1uz nz

Hi,

I am half way through putting a Toyota 1UZ-FE 4.0 V8 into my 90 Hilux Surf.

Build thread here:

When that is done I will be putting a 1UZ into a 91 MX5 Auto.

My first project was a 1.6 T25 Turbo MX5 but that has been a bit of a disappointment. The power is good but the driving experience isn’t.

I am not sure whether I will keep the 1UZ MX5 Auto or go manual.

I have an FC RX7 that I can rob parts from (manual gearbox, rear subframe/LSD).

Default Driving experience

Wasn't as enjoyable to drive when NA.

The shift points are different, having a lower ratio diff may help (currently 4.3:1).

Just personal preference.
