Default New guy from Miami.

Hi all, My name is Ralph, I have a 95 Miata and have been toying with the idea of either installing a turbo on the 1.8 or taking the plunge into a V8 swap since I got the car in 06. this past weekend as an early father's day gift my GF bought me a Ford 302 that one of my friends was going to install in his Cobra before he got a deal on the engine that is in it now. so I am going the V8 route.

Right now I am in the early stages of reaserching the 5.0 swap (since I assumed had I gone the V8 route it would have been an LSx). I look forward to figuring out how this whole thing is going to play out and once I get started on the install I will most likely start up a build thread.

Welcome,

Let me know if you need any advice or parts. I've built 4 Ford V8 Miatas and sell a few conversion items for them on my site:

www.mccullyracingmotors.com

I'm happy to answer questions via email or phone if you need a little guidance.

Hi Ralph, welcome to the V8 miata crowd. I'm in Miami also, and have been building a V8 for four years now. It's almost completed. PM me if you want to talk and get more info on the project.
