From the other side of the world
Hi there,
Have just joined up to the thread from New Zealand. I have just done a LS1 conversion on a 1990 MX5, using the running gear out of a 04 Holden HSV Commodore, which I think the earlier coupe version was sold over in the US for a little while as the Pontiac GTO.
Using the car for a bit of track work and a bit of cruising around, and generally surprising a lot of people when they get dusted by what is commonly referred to over here as a bit of a hairdressers car.
So since there aren't that many V8 conversion down here (mostly Lexus 4.0 conversion, there is only 1 other LS1 conversion here that I know of) guess this forum will be my home away from home, and hope for get some tips from some V8 veterans.
