90-97 Simpson Design Cowl Induction Hood
I have a Brand new Simpson Design Cowl hood for sale. never been painted. simpson design does NOT make these anymore, and they are long out of production! these used to sell for $900+ shipping from simpson.
this hood is in good condition, however is has been moved around over the years acquiring battle damage throughout the way. the main issue is the passenger side corner of the hood is damaged and needs repaired. nothing too serious. there is also a few scratches in the hood, which will come out after sanding in preparation for paint, so those are not an issue at all. so only issue really is the corner.
selling the hood for $650 cash. located in San Diego

I'm not trying to detract from your item for sale, but I do have to point out that both the 1st gen and 2nd gen Simpson Design Cowl hoods are still available and you can get them through many vendors. Gomiata, for one, Eastcoastmiata for another. Yes they are $835 new plus shipping. But they are easily available. I know because I just bought one. I would think that you would have to go a lot less than that for someone to consider a damaged one.

Thanks for the heads up,
But $650 is more than fair. Repair will only be about $40-$100. Depending on who you go to(I was quoted $40 in GA, $100 in CA)
Either way still cheaper than new, and if picked up save even more.
