M2 Style Center Console Delete Carpet...Handmade in the U.S.
Your highly styled Miata just isn't complete without one of these...
This M2-Style Center Console Delete carpet is made from recycled Genuine Mazda Carpet, for a perfect color match. Each panel has been thoroughly cleaned and professionally shampooed. Currently, these are only available in Black & Tan. I can make these to match your red or blue interior, provided you can supply me with a workable O.E. Rear Hat Shelf Carpet that's the right color for you.
We are working on lining up suppliers for alternative textiles too. So if leather or quilted leather are of interest to you, please P.M. me and we can discuss Custom Options.
These are NOT intended for vehicles with Power Windows, as I Do Not have a solution to mount your window switches.
Pricing
$182.80 -- SHIPPED in the Continental U.S.A.
You Mail a Uncut O.E. Rear Hat Shelf Carpet back to us
$199.65 -- SHIPPED in the Continental U.S.A. No Core Return
All boarders have been professionally bound; it's a small detail but really looks fabulous!
The layout is very simple and minimalist. Removal of the original center console is required...of course, that's the point. It lays over the existing carpet and fit's cleanly around the shifter and parking brake. We've cut a clean incision at the back, for your Trunk & Fuel Lid release levers to poke through.
The shifter hole has been cut for use with the Original Miata shift boot....a couple minutes with a small philips screw driver, and you'll have your current shift boot extracted from the O.E. center console You can glue the shift boot overlaps on the underside of the console delete carpet...we like to use Hot Glue.
We did find, in the process, that the cutout for a Miata shift boot is the same size and shape as the shift boot from a Volvo 240. It's a nice design, and a heavy duty rubber construction...they're known to last 20+ years and 200k miles. With it, you can delete the tear prone Mazda rubber boot, under the console. While it fits right in with our center console delete carpet, you'll need to fasten the Volvo boot to the transmission tunnel with some self tapping screws or a creative solution of your choice.
Looks killer, and has that AC Cobra or Hurst type of character!
Excuse the crudity of MY interior!
