For anyone looking to do this conversion on a budget (aren't we all), I have some key pieces from my Exocet part out for you.
If doing the swap, I also have a Spec Stage 2 clutch with aluminum flywheel out of the Miata
The clutch has between 8-12k miles on it (didn't have a good speedo in the car for the first year or two of the swap) but sat behind a tired 5.3.
425 shipped for the clutch setup.
Carbontrix hood scoop: 60 shipped within the 48 states. Has some random scratches. Nothing I wouldn't put on my car.

Pretty angry you just posted this! I literally, no joke bought my subframe 2 days ago after waiting for a used one a long time.
BLAAAAAAAH.
I'll buy the FM bar though, if you'll sell it alone.
Thanks,
Nick

The Vette mounted unit should fit, but these things have pretty bad belt slip issues from Procharger. I was going to buy a Cartek flip kit but then you have belt slip issues with the alternator/PS pump.
This one has a super sticky belt and still slips some. I'm thinking about seeing what it'd take to have a machine shop make my crank and blower pulley ripped like this:http://s3.photobucket.com/user/flowg...lley2.jpg.html
I'm sure they shorten belt life, but if I can ease up on belt tension and still be slipless, I'm happy.

Sounds like a fun car. Wish I would have jumped on the swap kit sooner, not a bad deal at all. Still have my subframe coming in a few weeks, so no worries.
Best of luck with that vette, I'd love to see it, if you come to the Mitty.

Try this: Automotive Performance for your belt slip issues. This is what I am going to use when I bump it up to 12psi.
