Default Autocross with a POV cam

I'm trying something new this year that is working really well for videos. A friend of mine gave me a Sony AS10 action cam and I made a little bracket to put it on the side of my helmet.

Those are official rubber bands speed rated to 135mph The camera is super light and I don't even know it's there. It is set to 120 degree field of vision and the image stabilization is on.

This was the first time I ever tried starting in 2nd but it's worth watching for the hilarious cone kill.

This is a lousy course but a really fun ending.

Part of the audio on this was picked up on the license plate to try and avoid wind noise at speed. It's a little too close sounding but mixed 50/50 with the helmet cam sounds pretty good. This is a little zoom audio recorder.

Hello I'm a new guy on the forum. Currently looking for a rust free car to do a v8 swap. I would like larger meats on the car. I seen your video and like what you have done with the fenders. What type or vendor did you get them? Oh and sweet video.

Hey welcome to the forum Dale! My friend you ask a dangerous question that many have asked and I can assure you your best course is to run for your life with out even knowing how I got these flares! Not only should no one ever do what I did to my car ever again it should have never been done to begin with!

But because you are new and because I'm sure you would never do anything as dumb as I did I will show you my process. It is all painfully laid out here :

If you read it you will also see the only way to get real meat on a Miata is with photoshop....
