How to introduce people to the site?
- link in sigs on other forums.
- technical info here linked into other threads on other sites.
- unique content here.
- word of mouth.
Perhaps someone can make us some cool sig images that will be clickable to link back here.

A couple things I've noticed is that this site doesn't show up in the first couple pages on Google yet for either v8 miata, or v8 miata forum. That would help.
Also, you can't get in to see anything unless you are registered. Is that on purpose during the beginning, or for some other reason?

I'm going to go crazy linking this site to at all the areas of the web I know Ford V8 people visit. I can even try to talk Martin Wilson into adding it to his link page on his site if it's OK with everyone.

BTW, sorry I didn't get the chance to get back to you about the AC wiring. Look in your Miata shop manual and find the wire that comes from the AC controls to the old ECU and the wire that leads from the old ECU to the AC compressor relay. Snip those two wires from thier old Mazda ECU connectors and splice them toghter.
Basically what you're doing is taking the ECU out of the loop for AC control. The way Mazda has it set up, when you press the dash AC switch it does not turn on the AC relay directly but rather tells the Mazda ECU that you would like to have the AC on now. The ECU then decides whether it also wants to turn the AC or not, if it does it send 12 volts to the AC relay, the compressor engages and AC you have. You're simply diverting the 12 volts you would have sent to the Mazda ECU to tell it to turn on the AC to the actual relay it would have turned on anyway. Works like a charm.

The car is up and running and I have two 5.0 shops in the area that have a dyno and they both promised me they can power tune and ring another 30 hp out of it but we will wait and see the results on paper. I am not ready for them to get there hands on the monster yet as I am still working on the on the a/c... Hoses installed and almost ready form me to pull a vaccuum on the system. Have to add compressor oil and finish the wiring... Still have not driven on the street yet. I should be putting insurance and tag on in April. Will keep you posted as I progress.
