92 T-bird diff for $100, Is it worth it
I have a chance to get a diff from a 92 T-bird for $100, its a3.73 non-locker. It will be going behind a 400 Hp LS2, is it worth time and money to rebuild. I think its a 7.5 so getting a locking carrier would tuff I know.
Thanks

I wouldn't get a 7.5" IMO. Esp a non locking.$100 isn't a terrible price for a diff, junkyards usually don't know/care what ratio, locker or not, or ring gear size so they would all be the same price. With that said, I'd hold out for something better.

+1 to Steve that is way over priced. Go to car-part.com and search for a 95 tbird diff and you can find 8.8 lockers all day long for that. Note most sites like this you have to search on axle and carrier too because everyone calls that center section something different.
There is an 8.8 in NC with a 3.55 gear ratio that is probably a locker for 100 bucks right now.
