Default Better brands of 7.5" inner CV ?

My car has one sloppy inner CV joint on Ford 7.5" IRS Diff.

Anyone found a certain brand to get or stay away from ?

Do you have to buy a whole axle or can just the inner joint be bought ?

Certain models or years had stronger joints ?

Any info welcome.

You can probably get a complete axle assembly at the local auto parts store for $100.00 with a lifetime warranty. Just swap the joints over to your shaft.

Watched a video on you tube about a shop rebuilding CV, it did not look good. Grinders & hammers ! Don't want to buy their work.

Was hoping to learn from someones experiences with parts store CV's.

In this crowd I'm sure they don't get treated kindly.

Only $44.89 + core for ABS model. If you don't have ABS, buy the ABS axle & knock the exciter ring off of it to save money over the non-ABS axle.
