Clutch Neutral Safety Switch

Clutch Neutral Safety Switch
Hello All:
I was just thinking about my next little obstacle. I would like the clutch neutral safety switch working on my build. I am not using the ford ECU as I am using the FAST EZ EFI setup. The old Miata ECU has been removed. Anyone have any idea as to how I can accomplish this?
Also, does it matter which way the reverse light wires are hooked up on the trans?
Thanks,
Denis.

No difference on the reverse lights. They just complete the circuit.
You likely already know the NSS isn't the mechanism that keeps your car from starting without the clutch pedal pressed in (as you may have read in my build). That function is provided by the clutch pedal switch.
Just curious what use would the NSS offer if you aren't using the Ford ECU?

Actually, I just twigged to that, doh. So, if I haven't touched the NSS on the clutch pedal, it should still work? Would that connection go through to the old Miata ECU or will it just work fine?
Thanks, I appreciate the help...

I didn't touch anything related to that switch and mine works as it should (and I have no Miata ECU). Mike said it just goes to the fuseblock to complete a circuit to power the starter...or something along those lines.
