Default Drag Racing gears

Anybody used some low gears with great success? I have 3:26 posi that I knew wouldn't do the job as I was just shifting into 4th at the end of the quarter. Maybe someone that has run a 4:56 or 4:11? I'd like to hit the end at about 5500 or slightly higher.
Thanks

What rear end do you have for 3.26 gears?

also, what mph are you trapping?

I have the Ford 8.8 and run a 13.68 at 102mph in street tires.
Matt what rpm are you turning in the quarter?

I don't know. I was never able to put together a successful run. I'm easily well into the top of 4th. I trap a lot higher MPH than you though.
