New to the site Clutch question
#2
I have used a Centerforce dual friction with pretty good results. Currently I use a Ram HD. It's a little bit stiffer than the CF, and I get a little shudder when it's cold. It holds up to all the track abuse and street driving I can throw at it.
All of the clutches I can find use the exact same Valeo hat. I'v managed to break a couple of them, so I'm not happy about that. I think next time I'll use a Spec clutch.

yes but you have a cobra with a T5 right? I get confused about what the clutch assm slaves to, the trans or the motor. Do you know how many splines the t5 has? I might just have to wait till i get it out. This can't be that hard

I have a SBF with an older TKO, with a 26 spline input shaft. It's essentially the same as a SBC. The part quoted above is for an LS motor with a T-56.
The next step up has more clamping power, and therefore a heavier clutch. It's also considerably more expensive.
Go to the Ram Clutch web site, and you can read the descriptions to see which one fits your needs.
As a general rule, I spend whatever bux I need to to get the job done. I'll spend the $150-200 if I really think I need it. I'd like a dual disc clutch, but $1,200 is a bit out of my price range.
I prefer a light weight aluminum flywheel. I like the way it revs quickly, and improves compression braking. But that's just me. Some people like the heavier steel flywheel.
Remember- never buy cheap parts. They're too expensive.

roger the last part brother!
Pretty sure the T5 is a 10 spline. I have to many cars that I've done clutches on and I'm all mixed up. I've been told to stay away from centerforce. never liked those anyway.
