R&P Bushings???
I'v been searching for passenger side rack and pinion mount bushings for '99+ P/S. Oddly enough, I can't find one anywhere! I'm building a track only car, so I started out looking for aluminum bushings. Then Delrin. Then poly. Now I'm looking for whatever I can find - which is nothing. I even looked on dealer web sites - nothing.
I hate the thought of going to a bone yard to buy a "new" bushing.
Anybody know of a source?
Are the brackets and bushings for the passenger side the same for NA and NB cars?
I found some Delrin bushings for the driver's side: http://miataroadster.com/miataroadst.../i-407777.aspx

Wow. Seems like a common problem. Hard to believe, but they don't seem to be available for the NB. I can tell you that they are different from NA to NB. The NB has about a 1/2" depression in the mount on the subframe, the NA mount is flat. The bolts are also different diameters and the spacing is different.
Looks like an opportunity for the aftermarket suppliers. Urethane is easy to cast, once you have a mold.
FM has these for the NA:
Flyin' Miata : Chassis : Bushings : Superpro steering rack bushings

Still can't find one. Does anybody have a picture of one? I can buy Delrin from McMaster. If I know what it looks like, I can make one.
Does it look like the NA car bushing? Like the one on the left?

Thanx! That's exactly what I was looking for. If I can't find one at a reasonable price, I'll make one out of Delrin. That shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.
