Default 5.0 engine prep question

So I'm re-reading the construction manual from Martin and the 2nd step in 5.0 prep says " Fit counter-sunk bolt (you have to drill counter sink) into air tube on driver's side cylinder head"

I can't seem to find where on the cylinder head the air tube hole is located. Does anyone have a picture of this? I guess this is to block that port?

I am loooking at the picture in the manual, and I see what appears to be the countersunk screw right under the valve cover, but I want to make sure.

Taking another look at my heads, I'm pretty sure I don't have an air tube hole. From what I read it seems to be for smog pumps. Since this is a Texas block, I don't believe a smog pump was required.

Could that be the case?

I left all of the smog pump stuff off of mine. If you decide to go this route, be sure to block off the ports in the back of the heads. You will need 2 of these: TFS-51400265 Mustang Trick Flow Cylinder Head Emission/Thermactor Plug 5.0L/5.8L | CJ Pony Parts. You can get these from the Ford dealer, also, IF they have somebody there that knows how to look up old stuff.

Sweet. Thanks. Looks like shop already did that for me. That's why I could not find the hole. They were already plugged! That was driving me nuts!
