Evap line on 91?
I've searched and only found this thread saying to cap it off in the bay, wondering if anyone else has experience...

What have you early model year guys done with your evap line coming off the tank? I just installed the Walbro 255, about to run the stainless fuel lines and couldn't figure out what to do with this evap line..........
I looked on Nathan's swaptastic site and he never mentions the line. All I see are 2 stainless lines running from the pump to the Vette filter/regulator (which is the setup I'm using also).
Thanks in advance,
Jess

Bump. Still wondering what to do with this little vent on top of the fuel pump.
I was debating running a hose downward but since my exhaust is down there I'm not sure I want to route gas vapors down towards the exhaust, and I'd prefer them not circulating in the cabin, either.
Edit: wow I couldn't have planned that if I tried. Replying exactly 2 years to the day!

Hey Jess !! You don't know how many times over the past yr or so I've gone to CR.net just to see if you've updated your build thread. (I just checked an hour ago and read today's entry. You are coming along nicely and your LSx BRG is going to be so unique and amazing, I think.
OK, I'm WAY behind you on my build, but I am trying to keep an open eye for answers on fuel line plumbing. I'm not sure if this helps answer your question, but if it looks of interest, Jim is very willing to share info and help with our small V8M community.

My little build thread is on this site. Hope one day that a regional V8 Miata gathering could happen -- OR I'll just have to see your car in the greater OH area one day! Take care & best of luck to you as you wind down the build. Regards, Pat

I just bought one of these and put it up by the 'vette filter which should be far enough way from the exhaust:
Land Rover Discovery Charcoal Canister PHB 102320 | eBay
The nipple fits perfectly with the fat line coming off the tank, assuming that's the one you are talking about.
Still haven't had the car out yet as the engine is out.
