Default Finally got car

After months of asking questions and reading all I could find, I picked up a 1990 302 locally. Built by a knowledgable car guy who used mostly new parts as he did not have a donor. Fairly mild with E 303 cam, trickflow valve springs, roller lifters 19 lb accel injectors. Has new water pump, distributor, new PM starter, flywheel, zoom clutch with plate, new ball joints, konig shocks, Martin's springs and rebuilt T5. Followed Martins book. New top and seats. Inside and body looks very good. He was not convinced on selling the car and took awhile as his love is Muscle cars (mainly chevys) and has his evy on a 68 Chevelle.
Anyway, did not do the build but very happy with my purchase. Look forward to learning and possibly increasing the power but will drive it a while first. Is not " Oh my God" fast with 248/300 dyno but fun. Will learn the car before I start tweeking it and perhaps, it will be all I will need. Well, perhaps...

Want to thank those on this board who amswered many of my questions over the past few months. Jim, T-bone, Jason and many others who made this decision possible.. I will not be going anywhere as there is so much to learn.

Chuck

Glad you got a car. Post up some pictures. If you want more power, Kenne Bell has all of their 1987-1995 supercharger kits on sale for 25% off.

Looks like any stock red 1990 miata. Does have red trim on the seats on the inserts to match the color. Besides that, just a plain Miata with good 2 year old paint. Have thought about FI but not sure I want to go down that road yet as it has stock internals. However, have followed your car and would be something to seriously consider down the road.
