How bent is too bent?
I rotated my tires today and the back ones ran nice and true but the fronts were bent. Up and down was fine but side to side is not so good.

That's lateral runout. I would call the oem and see if they have a spec. Did you check the inside and outside lip? It could be you just have a bent lip. Could just try driving it and see. I'd suggest waiting for a clear, no ice day.

Might take it down to a tire shop and see if it can be spin balanced.

I have seen A LOT worse. Have them balanced on a Hunter road force load balancer. It will tell you if it is any good (If you can actually find anyone that knows how to operate it properly).

That's a good point I did not look at the inside at all. I'll do that today. I need to check for up and down too with more than just my eye.
I don't think this happened on the trip through the ditch because it's only the fronts but it did a lot of bouncing around.
