Space Saver Spare needed for big brake conversion 94 Miata
I have 11" disc brakes with wilwood 4 piston calipers. Looking for space saver spare with 4 x 100 mm bolt pattern that will clear these brakes. Any ideas??

Welcome! This is also on my "TO DO" list. Let us know what you find. I was thinking of using one of those inflation kits that come with an RX-8. Will the stock spare clear if you use some sort of wheel spacer?

I carry a little 12v air pump and a can of sealant which is far smaller and lighter than the spare. I know you have to reject a bit of common sense to do that but it is cheap and handy.
The other thing is statistically the battery is 5 times more likely to fail than than a tire and no one carry's a spare battery. I've been driving 37 years now and have never changed a tire on the side of the road but have jumped a car to get it started many times so I think that is kinda true.

I've run for 250K+ miles with a Safety Seal plug kit and 12v air pump in my C5. I've used it exactly once on the road, and several more times on various tires at my house or helping folks out. Got one in my Miata and a WHOLE lot more room in the trunk!
HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
