If it is between the evap canister and the engine it gets thrown away.
Keep the evap canister.
The Flyin Miata instructions are not clear in that area.
There is some confusion with the instructions as to what line they supply goes where.
You also might check out my build thread because I found it is not necessary to drop the tank to get the new lines installed.
I changed the fuel line routing just a bit because I was not happy with the exhaust heat being so close to the fuel line.
