Default Will Delta Revolution chip make a difference

Got a 1990 5.0 with E303, Trick Flow valve springs, roller lifters, 19 lb injectors. The former owner had a revolution chip but was not installed. Will the chip make any difference in performance in this car? Car is a Martin build with Jason's wiring harness..

Maybe. Try it out. If you don't like it, sell it. You most likely won't notice any real improvement until you increase airflow via heads & intake & increase fuel delivery via injectors. Then I would suggest a custom dyno-tune.

+1. Take the tuner your chip if you already have it and then you will know for sure if it helps. A dyno tune is not cheap, usually around 600 bucks but if your car is very far off of ideal it is worth every penny. Just be sure it is the last thing you do in your engine modifications or you will be doing it again.

And it should be noted that for most shops $10 worth of donuts will buy service with a smile $100 more time on the dyno...

Thanks. T-bone, Jim, Good info. Will decide how far I want to go with heads and intake and then go with the tuner. Have always liked the tuner with dyno to do the work and was not sold on chips alone. Jim, the donut idea is great.
