Default 1994 Monster Motorsports Miata for sale - SOLD -

1994 original Monster Miata. This car was built from a brand new Miata in 1994 by Martin Wilson and team at Monster Motorsports. It caries badging and birth plaque. I replaced the stock 5.0 with a forged 331 stoker and T5Z which have about 4,000 miles. It puts 367hp to the ground. The 7.5 Thunderbird rear end has about 10,000 miles, and the entire car is just under 18,000 miles. It is extremely clean and has won many show awards in the last 11 years. It has never been tracked. I'm hoping it will find a good home. The engine and driveline cost around 15k. $20,000 OBO.

If you don't mind telling. What did it go for? Mine is about to go up for sale and trying to figure out what to ask.

I had a few offers. a couple at 16K. Adjusting for shipping, it ended up being about 17K, which is where I expected to land. It found a very good new home.

Wow. Is it my imagination or was that a smoking price? Maybe "older" conversion, but still only 17k miles is awesome.

Where did it end up? What is next?

It ended up in Pennsylvania with a very good owner. I replaced it with a 2014 GT500 convertible. It was just time to let someone else enjoy the car.
